We’re finished for the night so I’m sinking some whisky, but the beers are from my local village brewery, have you had them before?

Mine’s gone, but it was indeed delicious.
I’ve got more, but they’re different.

Had them? Never heard of them. Lol. With exception of Jameson Redbreast 12 (not had it).
I’m finishing the Jack Daniels, onto the Guinness and possibly finish of the remainder of the Teeling Single Malt.

Now to the store for tomorrow’s supplies for Ham & cheese sandwiches with a poppy seed mustard & brownsugar glaze. Wife is driving of course, then when home I'll likely have another of something.

I still haven't quite figured out the fascination with pale ales.

They’re fairly ubiquitous across the NE, but I had no idea how far their reach was into the NW! You want some to try? I still owe you that favour.

We just have Cumbrian ales and beers for local stuff and nothing from our neighbouring areas.
You don’t owe me anything fella.
I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Am I doing this right?

Nope never heard of them. Are they just a local thing
![]() 03/26/2016 at 20:51 |

Damn

It was directed at Svend as I’m damn sure my little Northumbrian village beers are not available across the pond! That said, my closest city is Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and you do get the old Newcy Broon over there, although I have no idea how popular it is.

It’s really good. Pretty citrusy. Stone is from San Diego but they just opened a brewery here in Richmond. I went to its opening last month...was pretty awesome.

I like it but I can't drink it.

That was the better one, it came in a sampler 12 pack with this one 3 regular and a cinnamon flavor I really liked and drank them first. Was a winter seasonal so it may be all gone by now.

Yay Richmond! It’s pretty near my sister’s place, if I remember right.

Cool! I’m in the southern suburbs. Virginia rightfully gets a lot of crap here about its ridiculous speeding laws, but the beer scene here is thriving. Lately I’ve even been thinking about starting a small brewery of my own.

Just walked home from this place, so I’d agree.
